Very good

Clean and the staff was attentive. The breakfast had a great selection of tasty food and drinks. The location was beautiful - near another bus station, the Hakone buses and FIND SHOPS NEAR BY. It also was near by attractions. We didn't have time, so we will definitely go again next time.

It was all fantastic!

This place suits me perfectly! I love the spacious rooms, private onsen, and friendly staff. They assisted my elderly parents kindly during our first visit. I highly recommend trying the kaiseki dinner! I'll be back for a business trip.

Relaxing, serene, rejuvenating

I soaked in both the indoor and outdoor onsens, indulging in exquisite tranquility surrounded by nature. Waking up to a picturesque view of the beautifully manicured garden and koi-filled pond was a pure delight. The kaiseki breakfast was not only delicious but also served artfully was nice!

The location was quiet, for example, a botanical garden was not too far away from the hotel. It also was in front of gardens and lakes. The japanese-style room was big size and unique with mattresses instead of a futon, beautiful view, the private bath. I enjoyed that this property offered wake-up service.

The garden view from our spacious room was fine, with a waterfall that added a nice touch of nature. The onsen was good to soak in at night. Our meals, including a kaiseki dinner served by a dedicated staff, were both visually excellent and full of flavor. The private onsen in the room was a highlight. Everything felt authentic and luxurious.

Very nice kaiseki dinner served in our room.

While the hotel has beautiful features, the bathroom felt outdated and neglected. It was disappointing to find that despite the heritage, the facilities did not meet modern standards. The smell from the staff kitchen permeated our floor.

The futon beds provided a fantastic night's sleep. We appreciated the unique Japanese breakfast that was diverse and engaging. The outdoor bath offered charm and relaxation. The gorgeous garden views added a serene backdrop to our stay.

The location, while beautiful, can be a bit challenging to access without a car.

I loved being just a short walk away from the beautiful Hakone Geomuseum and the serene Choanji Temple, both of which were perfect for leisurely strolls in the fine landscape, although the room I booked was pretty cramped for three people.
